Estinien's Fate? [SPOILER discussion]

I'm with Aymeric on this one it's better to kill Estinien to stop Nidhogg than to try saving him at the cost of numerous potential losses if our attempt to save him were to fail. Also for what we know Estinien himself might agree with this as his purpose and goal in life is to kill Nidhogg and protect Ishgard from the Horde.

I'm quite sure he does agree Estinien's sole purpose was to kill nidhogg and was kept alive on vengeance and spite alone, it's the only reason he became the azure dragoon.

Being controlled/used/being the one thing he hated is most definitely a fate worse than death and I have no doubt he would gladly die to end nidhogg (he would probably prefer to die since he doesn't really have a life beyond killing nidhogg)

We have lost friends and allies. Even our victory at the end of 3.0 was soured by the loss of an ally. Just cause 2.55 wasn't a complete bloodbath (and I also am not particularly happy how little impact that actually had) we have had plenty of misery, tragedy and loss in HW. Narratively its been pretty damn dark.

I am joking, i still think he may die but may end by him saying how sorry he was and all that stuff or he may be enraged? Not sure.
I am sure he did not want to be taken over however he had all the rage built up

I cant agree more, I dont actually want estinien to die, and the trailer shows aymeric well gonna get pillar crushed it looks like. Maybe we flee to ala migho cause everyone around us keeps dying.

I don't think Aymeric is going to get crushed by a pillar since there wasn't a large shadow looming in on him and Lucia.
