Experience and being able to adapt to the situation seem more important to me than a Jobs potential, nobody plays any Job perfectly all the time, so I'll mirror comments to play what you're comfortable with... I just find a guilty pleasure in winning as the Yamcha of Jobs...

I've actually lost more matches with WARs in my party than with paladins. Plus it has the ultimate defensive cooldown which is very useful during last 20 seconds when you are running with 10 stacks and everyone tries to LB you.
And DRKs... LOL. What a waste of party slot. They can do neither WAR's damage nor PLD's support/protection.

I tottally agree , but there are some points wich people dont think when they blame Paladins....
1) Clemency has slow cast, big MP consumption and its easily interrupted...
2) People run from cover...
3) U cant cover or clemency someone who is on the other side of the map... So if u want your paladin to stunlock healer for example, u cant instadie on the otherside of the map, cause there is nothing he can do about it... And u know how DPSs loves to Insta-Die... You blink and boom... DPS/Healer is dead...

what? this does not make any sense , first of all, if PLD is covering someone, they gotta stay close to protec their target (which is the point why they covered them in the first place) if u dont, ur fucking up (unless theperson covered is really that clueless) Clemency got bufffed so its actually a HUGE CLUTCH game saver. Ive seen so many games saved by a paladins Clemency u had to not have played enough to see otherwise.Well... Some points:

And your talk about people being on opposite side of the map , first of all, if you are not with your team you are fkn up, thats it. Same goes to the other team. NO one should be separated unless its an rare occasion in the last minute where the melee dps is limit breaking the 10 stack tank to win the game. Other than that, your comment makes no sense.
MO PLD is by far the more superior tank if the PLD knows whats hes doing. same with WHM as the superior healer (IF) he knows what hes doing. Both jobs have a higher skill ceiling to perform at max potential.
WAR is honesty a 3rd dps with great CC like holmgang and some minor support like Thrill of Battle

Afaik Clemency got a 2 second cast, the same as any single target heal any healer has. So it's pretty fast.

Except that Paladins dont have the cast speed of a mage... So yeah... 2 entire seconds on pvp... think about it...
Cover skill => U wouldnt beleive the amount of players who manage to run out of cover skill.... its insane...

Sorry but I can't agree with Clemency. 2 seconds is fast and you make it sound as if SS stacking is actually "good" for mages. It caps so low that the GCD cut isn't even worth it. Seen plenty of healers rocking no SS build and being extremely good. 2.00 seconds or 1.98 seconds, really.
I am thinking about it. And the more I think about it, the more clemency gets better in my eyes. Paladins have a higher cast interruption treshold than mages do because of their naturally high HP at ilvl150 and how the system calculates that treshold. So it's less likely to get interrupted because the treshold should be actually pretty damn high.
2 entire seconds in pvp huh? Well, a bit out of context but for example, a BLM has casts that are 3 and 4 seconds long. 2 seconds is a luxury compared to that.
The only thing I'll agree with is that it has a high MP cost. Somewhat of a bummer but having the PLD be able to cast more clemency would be a real headache if he were in the enemy team.
