It's really funny how many people post here but don't know how breeding works. G8 + G8 = G9, G8 + G9 = G9, G9 + G9 = G9. All result in G9. The cost, G8 2,650. G9 2950.
YET THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT. PLAYERS WILL ASSUME THEY SERVE A PURPOSE AND G10 EXISTS WHEN THERE IS NO SUCH PEDIGREE. YOU DON'T NEED G9 TO BREED G9.

It is upto SE to make it logical and clear. This is a game not research.
Achievement: Obtain a new chocobo with a pedigree level of 9 or higher. <--- why research why it says there is higher.
It would make more sense to just say, Achievement: Obtain a new chocobo with a pedigree level of 9 and if the max rank changes, add a new achievement.
or higher in the achievement discription is unnecessary here. G9 coverings are unnecessary here.
I'd hope a mod will respond, starting to get fed up of players responding when they don't understand the problem.
