Me too but I'd like to see that breast slider do something for female lalafell.

Some of the original artwork did give Lalafells some curves. They certainly were not the potato sacks they are now.

I guess, but then again I never played 1.0. but I know one thing for certain, that game looked better than we have noe, like you said, shadow, better details on characters so on. Doubt they ever will fix it.

Your right, it got dummed down because the original 1.0 was a huge resource dump on pc's(at the time) and the engine wasn't supported by consules, and 1.0 flopped bad, so they had to revamp it and change it around abit to be supported on the p.s. platforms. (not turning this into a platform war, just mentioning facts) And so on in so forth. When they do finally drop ps3. and stick to just ps4 and pc, I think they could throw us a bone n do a texture update. but im not complaining, tho on the rare times I go roe, it would be nice to have a butt. since roe got misquito bite butts.

No you are right, it was supose to be on ps3 as well, but that never happened. I think? And I completely agree with you . Problem with if they stick to ps4 and pc only, when it happens, they need to do some overhaul on their engine. Doubt they ever will do that, the whole game needs an overhaul, gear, how peoples tails, ears etc works on the current gear. Everything needs an upgrade and I highly doubt that will happen, unless they want to do that with new expension pack but I highly doubt it will happen. Most expension packs had overhauls and some changes on terms of how game is, changes like how certain things work, last expension didn't change much in terms of how the game works. We can only dream about it. The graphica was tuned down alot as well because many don't have a high end pc and many plays this game on 30 fps, so yeah.

Very insightful post! In the end, many people just want their characters to look better. I know this isn't a small task. If you change the character models, you'd have to adapt every single armor and weapon model in the game to the new models. However, I feel there are things the developers can do with shading and textures which can improve things like butts and body definition without needing to overhaul the models.

I'm not sure how true that is.. not sure if any of you play wow. But they updated the models to look more 3d. And changed the models a bit .

But then again wow engine is way older than the one ff14 use, well older atleast, and they need to fix alot than just the bodies, they need to rehaul gear as well. Wow has no problems with that.

They really haven't changed as much as people think. Whether or not the flat butts look awkward is another story, though. Poor Roes.

The problem is real, I crafted myself that gear and modeled for a good while and however close I came to the original 1.0 picture the difference is most noticeable!...

Please Square Enix, give us back 1.0 character models, PCs can run the game easily now!...

And don't forget to throw in a more generous height slider for Miqo'te, I definitely want to be taller!...

PCs can handle it. PS3 cannot. And they will not make character features that the PS3 can't use. Yet.
