Formerly, my 34CON had ~650hp and ~950mp... Now:
34CON has 959HP and 763MP
42CON has 1573HP and 833MP
20THM has 361HP and 501MP
22THM has 410HP and 530MP
as 34CON, I formally cure2 at ~450hp, my cure2 is now 289hp.
How did con get so screwed?

I think this is another one of SE's "pull something out of the spotlight without putting anything else on stage" maneuvers...
Sounds like with Physical Levels and Stat Allocation, you're running bare bones on those mages. And bad bones at that.
Take on Ifrit anyway. You can always go passive and reg---oh, wait.

If its any consolation, my 33 PUG had 1600 HP prepatch and now it has 996 >.<
But for an example a puk did about 250 dmg to me with backflip prepatch and now it only does 90. So I don't think anything was nerfed specifically just 'adjusted'
They said HP would be low before 35 and pickup faster afterwards, so its nice to balance it out
SE stated stats will change after a certain level range and that gear and stat bonuses will have a greater impact. Before stats literally meant nothing, now it feels like you definitely have to focus on x,y,z stats as whatever class.
Beat you to the punch with this thread

Maybe they'll tweak it in .19a ?
Not being able to rest during a fight now is pretty stupid though. Even in XI, backwards as that game was for years and years, you can /heal during a fight to recover HP & MP.
This is almost like a nod back to Tanaka's original idea of careful MP management and spells being used less frequently but with a lot more potency - minus that latter aspect...
