If that is Edda, it'd probably be towards the end. Where you, most likely, won't be able to get to, at low levels. Hoping it is her, though.

It could take place between the 2 Tam Tara. We could imagine that she ended up in there for some reason (maybe learning necromancia like myahele said or just while she was wandering through Eorzea) and become some kind of a psycho seeing all those things in the Palace.Probably not. The Story of Edda continues from Tam-Tara normal to Tam-Tara Hard. Palace of Dead probably won't require the completion of the Tam-Tara hard to go in. So, in this case, the story will be fragmented for those who enter palace without complete Tam-Tara hard. So, I think won't be Edda. I think is just a new character created for this sidequest.
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.

Of course it's going to be Edda. As if SE would expand on their game world any instead of just reusing the same NPC's over and over and over for everything.

I dunno but she better watch out. I'm tempted to mug her and steal her outfit.

Did anyone notice the succubus in your party during the trailer?
She looked like she might have a very good outfit which I hope SE lets players get hold of as a vanity/glamour outfit.
I'm not quite sure, but it looks like there might be bits where party members can either transform into different monsters, or possibly be transformed into fightable enemies, like in Antitower; I think I saw some imps and that Narasimha demon from Halatali HM.

Also remember that it only happen if you did specific lower level contents before the higher content, not the other way
rubbing oil on Godbert before meeting him in north Thanalan make him to remember you.
But if you rub oil on him after meeting him in north thanalan he will not remember you and still think his son is dead.
That is only because our first meeting with Godbert at camp bronze lake is from 2.0 and the meeting in north than is from 2.2.Also remember that it only happen if you did specific lower level contents before the higher content, not the other way

I can actually give you a case of higher level content altering lower level content in recent content releases.
The recent hatching-tide event (level 15) had a special cutscene added if you completed the 3.0 a level 57 Forelands sidestory quest line.
I also suspect that the recent seasonal event has different text depending on if you've met Godbert and if you have participated in the Hildibrand questline.
I'll believe that it's edda until i see that it isn't.
