While we are on this topic. I would actually like it if they would be fair about mounts. Yes, WHM gets a Unicorn, tanks get their beloved achievement mounts. But what about us DPS, SCHs, ASTs? We all deserve to gain achievement mounts just like tanks (heck, even WHMs could use achievement mount too!). Healers has it incredibly rough just like tanks, even DPS. I find just giving tanks achievement mounts is unfair and very well unbalanced in this game.

Also, on topic: I was also disappointed by how Kirin's music was generic. The same as others. I was thrilled that Primal Mounts had their own representative music from the fight itself. Every mount should have a unique piece of music. I agree with the OP.

I remember the devs saying they'll look into achievement mounts for all jobs, but the reason those 4 jobs have mounts is because the devs want(ed, for WHM) people playing them. WHM got it at launch because it was the only healer you could start out as, and they anticipated a need for healers early on. Tank mounts are there so people run 8-man raid/EX content as tank. DPS are not uncommon at all, and even healers don't really need help as far as numbers go (spend 5-10 minutes in queue for expert as a WHM daily on my alt. Jump on main...instaqueue as WAR) Heck, the reason tank mount got flying probably has more to do with getting people tanking these instances than anything (no matter how much I will love my Skybear...having flying bears, lions and panthers is even sillier than the Turtle)

I'll just say it again, these achievements are to get people into these roles, not just for "fun". Even the number of healers out there far outnumber the tanks (not even going into DPS, cause we know DPS outside of Savage are so easily replaceable its not funny). If more people played tank, not just leveled it but ran stuff after hitting max, we wouldn't have these mounts. They're an incentive, nothing more.

Having DPS mounts would be exceedingly stupid, IMO - as it would completely and utterly defeat the reason the mounts were introduced in the first place, that is, to play the tanks(which had VASTLY lower numbers than other roles by far). The healers I could see a case made for, but the DPS?That would just make DPS queues SEVERELY longer, as well as a significant tank shortage as a result.
