by lore the ideal of ifrit mount doesn't work it be more like ifrit want ride you as his veteran reward.

If this happens I'm growing a beard and starting a war to free him because it's just wrong.

On the subject of veteran reward mounts, I would love a Cait Sith (FF7) inspired mount.. It could work from a lore point too since they introduced Cait Sith into the game in the Void Ark storyline.

I would want to ride on the large white mechanical "moogle", maybe sitting on his head like Cait Sith does, or riding his back piggyback xD. As long as they have the hopping animation he does when he walks/runs, i'd be content. It'd set it apart from the slew of mounts we already have that all just walk normally.



Also the free retainer option is by far the best option listed on here.. one free retainer wont kill their sales, and it would help out all of us that are struggling with the restrictive inventory management we currently have.

A mount for rank 14 would be nice but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I don't think fantasia is something I would care about much since can already get them from mogstation. I also have quite a lot of retainers so I don't especially need another. It would be a problem and a waste though to give a free retainer to people who already have capped the amount of retainers they own, again also can already get more from mogstation and especially in the case of retainers which are amazingly cheap like a couple quid/few bucks each.

If plucking your ideas just from mogstation then at least pick something with higher value in my opinion though I would prefer they gave something that could not be obtained through mogstation. If doesn't feel like much of an incentive or reward just taking things from mogstation and plopping those as veteran rewards since anyone can get those at any time they want even day 1 if they wanted and hardly anything on there is expensive.

I think if they gave it the same little hop-walk animation that he has in FF7, and a pretty identical design, people will get the reference. I mean people could see the similarities and say it looks similar to Cait Sith's moogle from 7, and then when they see it hopping im pretty sure that would just confirm it. You cant really mistake that "walk"

Now how they would fit this in lore wise is another story, but honestly we have a regal looking behemoth and a giant evil Ahriman that lets us sit on his head, with no explanation for either of those so.. Why would they even need to explain it? :P

Is there any source of information for this extra character slot as that would imo be usless like other said a free retainer would be nice but a mount be more ideal as we not had a mount from the vet system since the behemoth mount after 270 days.
