Yes I did given i quoted your comment didn't I? I was just reinforcing your point that crafted gear is an option to tome gear and you can already purchase it with gil.

Oh it's fine. My wording could have been better I suppose. Personally I like the idea of being able to purchase gear that is worth using in dungeons especially when one has multiple roles and tome farming really doesn't allow for you the ability to gear them optimally. I wish the crafting requirements for making them wasn't so difficult though. It's hard to find crafters who can make that gear and on my server at least the prices are a bit crazy.
Prices have actually gone up on much of it where the cost of mats have gone down, go figure. A caster top I'd like for my alt was selling at 700k and is now selling for 1.7 million. :/

I think our big crafters are all in hibernation until they can make big gil in 3.3. lol

Oh my, that is quite the inflation. x_x I got my gear a while back and only 1 piece was close to a mil, the rest was around 200-600k each. I was lucky enough to get the tank set and the drg set both HQ.

It's ridiculous. I bought much of it (which I didn't have crafted) when prices were **cough** reasonable compared to now. I have some friends who are pretty good crafters but some at least can't guarantee HQ and as such won't make it. Our server is crazy when it comes to mb pricing. Sad fact of life is a lot of crafters were very frustrated with the HW content and stopped crafting altogether.

I would like to see better tome per difficulty scaling. Savage and extreme primals should give you much more tomes than experts imo.
The prices of items depend on the supply and demand. If there are crafters fighting with one another they are gonna be lower. I am crafting i220 accessories and one day they can sell for 300k, which means the war is quite brutal ^^", and the next one they get back up to 900k coz the cheap goods were sold and the crafters got exhausted. Based on the MB history it would seem overpriced, while in reality the market was just flooded previously.
If it is ongoing issue on your server it might be great idea to get into crafting the stuff yourself! Or motivate your friends to gear up their crafters. Seems like a great opportunity tbh

So would you say crafting gear is better than Tomestones gear as I like to call it lol?I would like to see better tome per difficulty scaling. Savage and extreme primals should give you much more tomes than experts imo.

I am not fond of weekly limits and daily bonuses, because that way there is the pressure to do the chores in certain time limit. For example if I decide to level an alt job this week I get behind others and there is no way to catch up the next week. You have to wait till the next tier of gear to really catch up - which is ridiculous. Why can't we just do what we want to do when we want to do it? It is supposed to be a game not a job.
If I hit lvl 60 with a new job it will take weeks to gear it up in lore or midan gear. I can get crafted gear in an hour easily if the gil coins allow it. So from this perspective the crafted gear is much better.
