Good sig!I understand. I remember having a hard time getting used to new things when the game started (I had no idea I had to pick up crafting materials for leves sometimes, or where to get them), and everything changing suddenly can throw a person off, but I believe people will adapt just fine. We just have to help each other out when we're confused or frustrated about new things.
We'll be alright. ^-^ Just gotta help those newer people adjust.
My respect.
Hopefully people read and reflect.
Our two friends that only started two weeks ago are looking forward to this updateThey have myself and my husband to "relearn" everything with (since WE, the people that have been playing for a year, have new stuff to learn too)

I have to agree with this guy. I'm from Selbina too and we're getting an ass load of new people almost every day.erm go make a new char on selbina, we get LOADS of new players coming in. i was a recruitment officer for a LS on selbina and know just how many new players are coming through that server lol. granted some are transfers from another server ect but you CANNOT deny theres new players.
my partner for one is a new player, i can think of at least 5 other new players who i've spoken to on selbina
My buddy, who I've known on Xbox Live for years, just bought the game and is playing it like crazy after watching all my youtube videos and hes even excited for the new patch. He doesn't mind learning the game again with all the new stuff.
i think new players will adjust easier, ive been playing the game for a year and now have to do things differently. not complaining, but you get the point.
Yea, yesterday i was running around doing my normal thing. Noticed a good number of people chilling out and doing leve's in black brush. I had to stop and do a double take.

Umm I'm new and a change will have no bearing on me i think you really meant "old" players as there the players who now having been used to how everything was have to adjust. I however only have to forget a small portion of the game and pick up from the new patch.
its nice to get input from a new player on this!
perhaps you right, older players will have a harder time adjusting, but either way, lets help each other out as much as possible mkay?
Just because they don't post on the forum doesn't mean new players don't exist
OP-wise, I think it might be all for the better. The tutorials I hope will help out some with a bit of direction. And there will be more things to do and look forward to as they're leveling up, granted, a bit overwhelming for this overhaul of sorts. But I guess... it's like we were playing a beta before this patch. And today... is launch day. And all the fun that comes with it.
Posting something like that is prejudice against new players. I have new people that are in my Ls and they're becoming accustomed with the updates just fine. New players or not, the game is still new and being constructed.i thought i'd bring up a subject thats easily overlooked with this patch.
i feel sorry for those players who've only been playing a breif time and just got use to how things work as they are.
now this huge patch is coming changing alot of the key systems and i cant help but feel sorry for them because they'll have the hardest time adjusting, especialy if thier not aware of the lodestone yet.
