when FFXIV goes p2p will they stick with the current monthly fee?

Like the title says, I wonder if SE still plans to charge $13.00 a month. It seems a little high. I think they could make just as much money if they charge $10.00 a month cause I think this would result in a higher player base. I think $10.00 will be the breaking point for allot of people. Maybe they could have a yearly plan for $100-120.

No one will be paying yearly sum to play so that's off the table. And yea they probably will keep to their prices. They also said the game is free to play until they see that it's worth it. If they start charging now I'd give it a price range of about £4 a month. xD

i meant when the game is 100%, there will be a lot of competition including a f2p mmo that i will not name. From a business perspective i cant see them charging 13 a month. Maybe 10 to start and see how the game developers and the player base.

and the yearly thing i mentioned i meant as an option to save money. if it was 13 month or 100 a year id pay the 100 up front.

Agreed, don't expect people to pay full price for a half done product. The fan base is going to drop just because people feel like your insulting them.
