How can we improve the way medals are handled if someone DCs or leaves?

It could drop half medals for enemy team and half medals for your team... This would still punish your team for the disconnection but would not ruin the match...

It really really sucks when you or someone on your team dc's but I dont feel it happens frequently enough that they have to do something that could potentially be exploited later on. I mean if they can find an unexploitable way then by all means but I have personally only been victim to dc losses maybe like 3 times in over 200 matches.

It doesn't happen all that often (hopefully!), but we are looking for a better way to handle it when it does happen. We just don't want the new solution to be open to abuse. The current method punishes the team with the DC pretty hard, so no one would want to DC on purpose (although I have seen people rage quit out of games out of spite). But... if the method for handling medal drops when someone DCs is too lenient, then people might find a way to use this to their benefit. So we are just trying to find a better middle ground.

Today I got DC twice on a same match !!! And its not my internet connection 100% sure... Right now as I write this reply my team must be raging inside the match !!!

This madness has to stop, servers are really strange nowadays... =(

Something needs to be done about this, I lost 6 matches (or 150 points) due to people disconnecting on my team in the last two days. I have only won one match due to a dc on the other team, leaving me with a -125 point loss from disconnects alone.

I am sad.

Happened about 3 more times since my last post. Bring that to a -175 point loss from disconnects on my team alone.
