White Mage if you want to primarily heal.
Scholar if you want to primarily DPS.
Astrologian if you don't want invites.

I like twirling and floating around on WHM casting Aero3 and HolyHeals come second

Well you know you need to come to the forum and listen to all the game wonders who reside here to figure out how to play this game. Heaven forbid you play it to have fun. And personally I started with WHM but she's gotten pretty lonely given I play Astro most of the time and have a ball.

I have all 3 healers to 60 and I tend to SCH more now ever since I got it to level 60. I also like to AST depending on situation and who's my co-healer, I actually find WHM boring now.

I see that other forum--you know, the elite poser forum--hasn't revised their talking points since 3.1. Too bad, AST is probably the most active healer job that I've experienced. Thankfully, not every player's so obsessed with DPS as to forget what their job's purpose actually is.

Astrologian, out of the three healers I've honestly found the most enjoyable (I mean its only level 32 for me right now but my initial impression is much better), I have scholar at 60 due to having SMN/ACN main but I just don't click with it as a class.Well you know you need to come to the forum and listen to all the game wonders who reside here to figure out how to play this game. Btw I dunno if I'm misunderstanding what you wrote here or if you misunderstood me but my post was sarcastic, I think Astrologians are pretty sweet and highly adaptable as a job and the hate they get is really undeserved and a stigma that is lingering from before they got a much needed buff.
From what I've seen and what my friend has told me as she mains Astrologian and has WHM at max and SCH is nearly there.
She's mentioned the Ast regen stance is more or less equal to whm regen but the Ast shields aren't as strong as a Scholars.
Though the whm and ast regens can stack while the shields from ast and sch do not. Which is probably why have you have WHM's wanting a scholar over ast for better dps potential and stronger shields.
Their primary heals are equal with the other two but their helios seems to have the shortest range of the aoe heals.

The argument over shields is getting redundant. xD (also this makes me sound angry, but I'm not lol) After the 130% buff, ast "shields" are better, outside of a blue moon sch adlo crit(and is instant for aspected ben, with the choice of an aspected helios if you need mitigation for a fatal aoe/avoiding overheal or a raw aoe heal at a subsidized mp cost.) The actual potency of the healing spells are about the same. Ast have access to cards and a cure II/medica equivalent, where an sch does not (ergo fairy. Emergency tactics does give us a similar effect, but it's hps is lower on succor and much lower on adlo.)From what I've seen and what my friend has told me as she mains Astrologian and has WHM at max and SCH is nearly there.
