I do my best healing and I've done pretty well so far if I do say myself - Which I just did.

Anyway, unlocked aurum vale, and this one is a bit nutty when I do it for the first time on any class. But, I got over it and went head first. Doing pretty good, get to first boss, I have multiple problems. Maybe because I haven't had to heal that much before? But I got on with it! We end up dying, and we try again, beating the boss on our 2nd go!

During that time, the mentor tank was kind enough to help me out, telling me some really good tips- Albeit which I should already know, rip me.

Mr tank helps me out more along the way, and after the wild party at the first boss, it's pretty much smooth sailing ahead. We get to last boss, which was a lil tricky but we did it. I thanked him, gave him a comm and off I went. Surprised I got 3 comms from that tbh.

EDIT: 90% of my runs as healer so far have been really good, hardly any deaths etc. I wonder how bad I'll be at 50+ dungs. Ahhh rip me.

Had an awesome leveling roulette and got Quarn Normal. The party had a new DRK, NIN who is new to dungeon, MCH, and I WHM. We all explained boss mecahnics to the new player, the party is a bit wonky at first, like new guy forgot to kill bees fast, we wiped to trash and once on first boss. The best thing was we stick together until the dungeon end, which was nice to see since mostly I've seen people drop out after two wipes.

I have been getting either Quarn Normal for leveling roulette or Quarn HM for level 50 roulette a lot these past few days.....

I had an Aery run earlier on BLM with an Ast and the combination of a powered up arrow and my ley lines, I was casting so quickly, like 1.7 cast time on fire, it was insane.

Astrologians need some more love <3

Last night I was in MS roulette and got hit with a random lag spike. Spent 75% of the dungeon either frozen completely or watching all 7 other people jump around the screen. I've never cast so many fire III in a row in my life too bad they didn't count ;(

Hahaha. I was in Syrcus Tower as a bard and half way fighting the boss i had a lag spike. I keep shooting arrows while everyone just stood still and look pretty. I stop shooting arrows and stood there for awhile and suddenly everyone just disappeared like magic. I was like "where is everyone?!"
Open my map and saw everyone was waiting for me at the next check point lol. SPRINT LIKE CRAZY XD

I kept telling to please avoid them and all he said was: "im watching netflix with the wife, not paying attention just here for tomes"

My response to that is to immediately initiate a vote kick. Even if it fails, it sends a rather clear message. If after a failed vote kick, he keeps it up, I'd let him eat floor a time or 2, then try again - and leave if it fails the second time.

2nd boss, was sitting at 7 stacks of vulnerability, all cooldowns blown to survive to this point, OT still not taking it. I die of course. I get resurrected. OT calls me out saying i should be rotating cooldowns (which i was yet still died) I mentioned I was and a bunch started saying obviously you werent etc etc (one of them being a healer)

Is it a crime to do the fight the way hoping the OT would share the burden and take some stacks while mine clear? Like the fight was meant to be played? or we at the Git Gud Scrub stage and blame the tank for her own death. I dont know, Im just mad

3am - So last aurum run. We get to the bedkeeper thingys and because drg hit 50, he/she left. Didn't bother any of us as we crushed the last boss first try with just the 3 of us. No deaths surprisingly! Such good teamwork!

So, queued up for a DF run before work, got an in-progress Stone Vigil (as a DRK). Turns out that their tank had either bailed or was booted (I didn't ask). They gave me a bit of what had happened as I made my way towards them (they had made it to the second boss). When I get there, SS and Protect go up immediately, ready check goes off nicely, and I pull the boss. Everything goes well throughout the rest of Stone Vigil, we kill Isgebind without anyone dying, and I walk out of there with 2 comms.

I feel you didnt do anything wrong. In fact the OT was wrong not to swap. Not sure abt your side but in my area we always do tank swap. I think i seen a post abt another tank who had this problem and he had 9 stacks vulnerability. Obviously that group you had was just pure bad luck who knows nothing.
