Wow! What a terrible idea!

Wow! What a terrible idea!

Because they wouldn't encourage trolls, who now know they not only get to annoy other players but will also cost them lore. It'd be a complete mess and cause many players to single group and ignore the DF altogether.

...This is a troll thread, right?
Naoki Yoshida:
Source: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/113554 at 1:14:22...Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

Probably the worst idea I've ever seen on this forum. Sorry, but no.
How about Players have to pay to enter a Dungeon in generell? Or pay for using Skills? It seems like it happens way too often, Player A dislikes Player B so player A votes to kick player B Player A is in a party so they follow through with it. It happens way too often in game and I believe there should be some type of lore cost for players lvl 60 and over and a 5k Gil cost for players 30 and under. Players should have the option to pool together lore price if they all vote to kick the player. I believe this will stop players from wrongfully kicking a player and wasting their time.

Welllllllll, the simplest solution would be if everyone who signs up for a duty would just play and finish, be civil and not troll then their would be no issues. Since that's not the case all the time and people don't want to get along. How about a simpler idea? Instead of having all these convoluted filters, screens, who kicks who for whatever option, kicking costs, locked out for a month, having to fly to japan and stand in line to beg Yoshida for forgiveness to your sins. Or whatever else that makes party's feel like a warped job interview. Along with asking for systems that will in some way shape or form be abused. All so people can ask for more systems to counter the abuse of the abuse of the abuse. How about this instead.
Story mode dungeons soloable or with NPC companions. Do we really feel like a better hero with three other Warriors of Light or would NPC's give that same feeling? Since people want to treat each other as NPC's in a majority of these dungeons anyway. Does it make a difference if your grouped with designated NPC's?
Viable content for solo/duo players to earn tomes effectively (real content, not one that involves hitting a que button!). Skip all the headaches and stress all together! Since tome gear is recycled in major patches anyway does it really harm anyone if the solo player or one that is quite happy just playing with a friend is able to cap tomes without setting foot in designated forced four player content? Even up the rewards for four player content for those that wish to do it. If que's increase it may just send the message to the devs why players would rather solo instead of doing group content and make them see what's wrong with group content.
Yeah... NO @ OP's request. I could see this becoming a new griefing tactic easily!
Doesn't this pretty much take away the whole MMO aspect? What's the point of playing an MMO if your not playing with real people?Story mode dungeons soloable or with NPC companions. Do we really feel like a better hero with three other Warriors of Light or would NPC's give that same feeling? Since people want to treat each other as NPC's in a majority of these dungeons anyway. Does it make a difference if your grouped with designated NPC's?

For me? Absolutely not in the least. MMO's today are more make your own choose your own adventure games with constantly evolving and expanding content. I like having the choice if I wish to play with others or if I just want to go off and mind my own business with a friend in a far off corner of the world just duo'ing or soloing in peace. Not saying I don't like grouping with others. I just don't want to be forced to do it all the time in game. More so when discussions like this creep into play. If everyone could get along and just do the content then their would be no issue. Since that's not the case...sometimes..you just don't want to play with others but still want to accomplish something.

2/3 is a majority, the person being VTKed can't vote.
Similar for 8-mans, 4/7 is majority.
