They did say that smaller more diverse zones could be one way to go, especially considering the PS3 memory limitations, sounds good to meIf they could JUST open it up enough that it resembles Jugner in a way and the forests of San d'Oria closer to Ul'dah. Close knit trees but the ability to walk through them. Thin in some areas, packed and hard to go around in others.
The images look to mark the layout of where the new landmarks are. And I see 4 in one zone now? O: I wonder if that's Mor dhona? And if that includes the keeper as well. Ahhh I'm excited. I wouldn't mind losing a bit of map space if it meant we're getting more diverse areas of the same map, and that in newer expansions we'll get even better ones based around the same concept.![]()
YUMMY.
If you look at them closely instead of just haphazardly saying you can't see anything,
you'll notice how many screenshots are in those pictures.
That means
1) Enough progress has been made that the areas are testable.
2) They look GORGEOUS.

Make it happen.
I'm really excited that they'll be reworking The Black Shroud. The current "dungeon" feel with entire sections copy/pasted and rotated felt a bit........dumb. Not to mention gathering in Black Shroud outside of a leve is...ugh.
I hope they show it to us in high resolution so we can give our feedback before they get too much into them, just in case.![]()
LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)
Am I the only person excited about the fact that he is wearing a Vivienne Westwood armour ring?! Oh god I want one...
Honestly these images without explanations don't give us that much to speculate on so let's wait for them to buy a scanner or something before everyone goes berserk...
That's true. A double amount of diverse zones would be nice. Because as nice as the bigger ones are no one really travels up there for a reason other than turning in leves. Such as...Blue Fog is it? With all the aggro it's rough, and if it was worth killing things up there it'd be a nice place to skill up but with the new zones in place there will be more landmarks to explore. So I'm excited for that. 8D
I'd like to see some abnormal maps like castles and buildings added in the future. :Y Even if we cannot fight in them, mini villages spread around similar to hamlets, but which we can enter, would be divine.
Higher Quality map pics maybe someone can see more and translate these.

Field Zone 4 is Black Shroud / Gridania
Field Zone 5...anyone know which one this is?
FZ1 = Limsa Lominsa and La Noscea
FZ2 = Thanalan / Ul'dah
FZ3= ??? (Coerthas or Mor Dhona)
FZ4 = Black Shroud / Gridania
FZ5 = ??? (Coerthas or Mor Dhona)
I cannot remember which of those two are which...
Yeah...those cost 200-300 bucks EACH...now he cannot deny that he don't get paid bad...that jewelery is VERY expensive & awsome at the same time.Am I the only person excited about the fact that he is wearing a Vivienne Westwood armour ring?! Oh god I want one...
