3.4 is supposed to add apartments. Moving is supposed to come some time after 3.4, but we don't have any exact patch or time period for it to arrive.

Expanding on existing answers:

2) What about personal rooms? I've seen some people say you can just demolish the house and it demolishes the rooms with it. Other people have said that the rooms need to be demolished BEFORE we can even demolish the house. Anyone know definitely which it is?

I've never done it personally, but it's my understand that rooms have to be destroyed before it lets you demolish the estate. Either by the person doing it themselves, or you kicking them from the FC (which will demolish their room at that time).

3) What about stabled chocobos? My assumption is that they need to be unstabled before we can remove the stables in order to demolish the house. That sound about right?

I'm not sure if you need to remove all chocobos to demolish (it'll tell you when you try), but if you kick an FC member their chocobo will go to the Resident Caretaker in any housing area. Unlike items, there's no collection deadline on getting him/her back (but then it's not like a normal item).

Sorry, but it's actually after 3.4:

we'll be adding land in Patch 3.3, and we're aiming to have apartment-style housing in Patch 3.4. The moving feature will come after that.

Of course that doesn't say how much after... (3.45? 3.5? 4.0?)
