This is far and away my largest complaint. I've was frustrated about this three years ago, I'm still frustrated with it, and I will continue to be until they give us the option to disable battle music. I keep all in-game music off at all times because the battle music drives me up a wall. I like the music in dungeons, but I positively abhor it in the overworld. I want to relax! This game has so much nice, peaceful music and I can't stand it getting interrupted because I run too close to something or I walk over an unavoidable FATE boundary (it's like a game I hate to play, skirting around the edge hoping I don't get caught).

Please, Square-Enix, I just want to hear the zone music. Give us a toggle!
