    They pretty much took Arcanist from BDFF and expanded on the inflict status effects to do massive damage idea. And then made a copy paste of WoW's Warlock. They named it after Summoner after grafting inconsequential "Pets" to it. Makes me kinda wish we got a true to form Necromancer class.

    I wager a lot more thought was given to Scholar and it really shows.

    Yeah, agreed. A necro class would be awesome too. That would be a brand new FF job I think...wish they would do it ; ; I'd totally play it lol

    I'll disagree. Scholar doesn't feel particularly well built, as far as their job specific options and abilities go, at least in my opinion.
