Why do people want Blue Mage in this game?

Blue Mage uses monster attacks. There is nothing cute or comical about Fire breath, Bubble Breath, Big Guard, Bad Breath, M-Missile, Lvl spells, Doom, Mind Blast, Death Claw, etc.

But knowing this dev team they would dumb down the class to make it a joke of what a Blue Mage is supposed to be.

You are such an optimistic ray of sunshine, you've done nothing but beat the dev team down under the assumption everything will be butchered, cause apparently the definition of butchering has fallen off the face of the earth in this thread -____- I have never seen such negativity and pessimism.
