Well good luck with that, from my exprience jumping str8 into the fire is the quickest way to learn. Comparing dungeon to a end game is like day and night. And that's where I find the error. The healer should know all about pressure before even going into an end game instance like seph ex. You want someone there who's had nothing but "cake walk" dungeon runs, and hasn't felt pressure?
I've felt pressure and plenty of it. Qarn, Cutter's Cry, and now the Vale have all been instances where the dmg is as heavy as the mechanics that cause it, and wipes were totally imminent if I wasn't doing my job. So quite honestly, I feel pretty damn good about solo healing, and you invalidating the experience as lacking any kind of pressure flies right over my shoulders. I can't let comments like yours bring me down if I am going to handle the endgame pressure, because you're certainly not helping.

Some learn like you do, straight into the fire (me too!). But I've known a lot who benefit from a ramp up in difficulty and some of the dungeons do help (AV is one). I think one of the biggest weaknesses of the game which you allude to is that there is a pretty massive jump from 4 man (or 24 man) content to extreme primals and savage raiding (dungeons really do not prepare you for this). The game could use more of a ramp for those who need to build up the skills at a slower pacing.

I'm not the one comparing them. If I wanted an end game conversation I would have structured the thread like that. You're simply here to bring your leetist attitude and invalidate the experience. You as a player with much more in game experience really should know better that not everyone operates at the same skill level and learn at a different pace. You like to jump into fire? Fine. Don't spout your mouth off telling others they need to learn the same way.
When you would like to discuss 1.0 content with a young player trying to learn this game without knocking them down, I would be happy to hear about your experiences.

You start by asking if AV is a nice test for healers.. some people disagree and bring up something they do consider worthy.. as some people are mostly involved in end-game and are long past the point of being new to this game, of course it's gonna end up revolving around end-game. Now you complain about people for disagreeing with your idea that AV is a good healer test?
Anyway, I think AV, as well as the other dungeons you mentioned earlier, are a step up on the difficulty curve.. I'd not see it as a test though, it's just introducing new stuff for you to deal with (and yes, that can be a challenge).. the test comes at end-game, as that's where it has real social consequences.
If you feel it's a test, that's perhaps making it harder on you mentally tho.
