I hear you, Chevronon. I main DRK, and while my win rate currently is nothing special, I've been getting gradually more and more merciless and have figured out some interesting nuances to DRK. Like the fact that in a little over 3s (enough time for a stun... look at that!) I can push out close to 2,500 potency in ideal conditions. Which is really impressive for a tank. So hearing "wtf, stop playing DRK" on a regular basis definitely can make you not want to play it.

Also, I wish it was bad tanks for me, I only get bad healers and bad DPS because I'm playing a tank. Can I please stop having higher total kills and damage than the rest of my team already so I can get out of silver? There's also this one guy who bashes me because I've been in silver for weeks, without realizing that I only play a tank in PvP because that's all I'm comfortable as. Which means that yes, getting out of silver is hard.

I was fortunate in that I equally enjoy playing BRD and WAR in Feast,so I don't feel like I'm losing any fun by playing either or.

And here I thought I was the only one...

You know, I've not actually gotten that much grief for playing Dark Knight... Quite the opposite actually... I don't know if I'm just playing well, or people hand commendations out randomly (it's that one, I know), or what, but I've gotten plenty off Feast at this point... Had a few terrible people who decided Dark Knight has no burst (lol...) and just opted to sit there and do nothing, but I've had far more people who've praised my timely use of Stun/Carnal Chill, and I don't actually remember the last time my Job was blamed for a loss, instead I usually get a "Good Job" while the DPS rightly get called out on their inability to DPS, or the healer gets chewed up for never healing...

I think Chaos just has a better community in general though, I've seen plenty of salt, but no where near as bad as what I've heard coming from other data centers...

I've held the belief for a while now that the EU groups in games are healthier in general. It may just be my data cluster though, Aether, housing both Gilgamesh and Balmung, tends to pop up a lot of nasty people from those servers. Makes me sad, since I can't help but wonder if I get judged negatively by others because I chose Balmung way back in the pre-release.
