Was leveling my Bard and got Dzemael Darkhold and the other DPS was also a Bard. The healer that it was two Bards and bailed. Or maybe they legitimately DC'd, I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt but I know better. And since they did it right at the start we had to sit around for five minutes before we could kick them and then another couple minutes on a new healer and that's on top of the twenty minutes it took to get in there. And when all was said and done, it took under twenty minutes to do. It was fun run, I pulled the entire room after the second boss because I forgot to turn off Wanderer's Minuet.

Speaking of poor healers though, just yesterday I ran into an AST in the lvl. 30 guildhest against Buso. Now, this AST was at level 30. Among other things, they did:

- Not put on Diurnal Sect
- Not draw a single card
- HEALING. WITH. CURE.
- and spamming Helios.

I truly cannot comprehend how some people can advance to endgame levels while missing vital skills. Tanks who don't have Provoke. Or, just a few hours ago, I ran into a lovely WHM, who was sitting pretty at level 59, without Swiftcast. In the GG Library. And whenever the tank died, that was just a guarantee that we were going to wipe.

2 Japanese friends, who are both fluent in English, like to chat in japanese in a private LS we created for static. Every time they send chat in Japanese to Party by accident during a DF, they get "annoying weebs!". Every. Time. It's pretty hilarious to watch them proceed to pretend they don't understand a word of english.

Ok! So, I'm currently playing as WHM and really enjoying it, been doing really well, getting comms, barely any deaths etc.

So, I decided to do another run or 2 of brayflox to try and get the battlemage pants which is all I need to complete the set. But, instead, I get this group of trolls:

(Tank = Red, SMN = Green, BLM = Yellow, Asshole German Couple = Blue, Random = Orange)













The chat from the beginning isn't there anymore, but it's way worse due to tank being an annoying troll that isn't using defiance.

Me: oh come on, both of you are tanks, you entered a duty on tank, having to MT is a risk of that

This so much! I get exhausted seeing tanks who want to do nothing but DPS. One time I got partied with a MRD in Labyrinth who purposely went in with the idea that the other tank could MT and he could be DPS with a low queue time. Unfortunately, the other tank was a fresh 50 and was barely geared. God bless the new person, they tried to hold hate, but we were all i100+. Bottom line: When you go into DF, expect to perform your role.

The Vault can be a very rude awakening for a new healer. Once you start hearing, "Bitches must be purged" and hp bars start dropping.

My friend isn't new to healing The Vault. He has Scholar and Astro to 60, so it wasn't that he was new and people were being dumb. Just the people being dumb part

Was too lazy to leave. Ending up dying a lot. Definitely not a fan of huge ass pulls though. I mean, I can heal quick enough, but some pulls are just way to ridiculous, ya know.

More on the GG Library, I was finally forced to face the reality of playing a level 60 BLM when we faced the first boss. 5 seconds+ of no casting as I attempt to dodge the AoEs = Enochian drops off. Eat the AoEs instead, but get debuffed with Slow and Heavy? Enochian drops off anyway because Slow is interfering with my instinctual knowledge of my cast timings. And because Heavy is severely cutting down my movement speed, I die to Disclosure as well, as a huge bonus.

The WHM who stood around doing nothing but heal for the entire run had plenty of time to help heal my status effects so I could do my job better, but this is a healer who's gotten to level 59 so far and doesn't have Swiftcast, Eye for an Eye, or Virus, so of course it's the BRD who takes the time to help me out with Paeon.

Well, ASTs start at level 30, so it is quite possible that this was someone who had just unlocked the AST job five minutes before. In which case it is not so strange they do not know how to play it properly.
