The minion does not make a noise, just like any other. Her action is her Astral Flow (ultimate move) without the effects like the other primal minions. She lands on your shoulder/head of course too, but no laughing.

She said it in a chat bubble, not an actual sound. Would be pretty creepy if she laughed though...

Maybe try using mameeteer title and use all emote?

I don't have that title, yet. >.< Anyone else willing to try?

I guess it only happens the first time you summon her? That would be sad. ;_;

Open her page in the minion guide and place your cursor on the illustration. That could have been what you saw,

Doesn't the 'real' Garuda laugh like that in a chat bubble when you fight her?
Perhaps you are remembering that, but misplacing your memories onto the minion.

I musta read the post abit wrong then, but yeah, when you're in the minion menu, and you see the picture of Garuda there, you hover over it for the laugh bubble. You may of went over that for it

Ok, here's what happened: I summoned it in Ishgard for the first time in the Jewelled Crozier using a macro. Right behind my character I see the chat bubble pop up as the Garuda is summoned. Maybe I was seeing things, but I swear I saw it. I'm helping an FC mate craft one of these soon, I'll ask her to keep an eye on her newly summoned minion. If she gets a screenie I'll post it here. xD

I've crafted several of these for FC mates and stood there while they summoned it for the first time, but I can't say that I've ever seen it do this. Not sure if this would be more cool or creepy to see, lol.

It could of been a glitch or of course seeing things, lol. This does not happen, and I have 3 characters with the minion, none of them ever got such message. The laughing speech bubble of the minion is in the minion guide.
