Yes, Diadem gives 10 lore for relatively little investement.

Those are all the places you can obtain lore off the top of my head so I'm sure I probably missed some. Not quite sure why people choose to only do DREX to obtain lore. DREX might be the most efficient way of obtaining it, but it is not the only method.

I dunno either! And it's not even that some just restrict themselves to ExRo, but they keep saying over and over again in threads just like this that it's the "only way" to get tomes. No matter how many times we've listed other things to do, it's like they just clap their hands over their ears and say "LA LA LA I'm not listening!! Expert Roulette is the one true path to Lore!!" It's like some kind of weird cult or something. I'm not sure whether to be offended that I'm being ignored to when I say there's other ways or to feel bad for them because they don't seem to comprehend that fact. It's so confusing to me. @_@

They aren't padding at all, you can do this magical thing called running the dungeon without having to run the roulette. I know it's insane to think of, but it's 100% true.

If people didn't enjoy doing the roulette, why would they do the dungeon, and vice versa? They don't like roulette because they're sick of those dungeons.

I personally have no pity for those who complain that DREX is the only method. I wonder what most of the people in that camp did for tomes before they added roulettes into the game.

It is. I enjoy seal rock more than PvE content right now after I clear sephirot ex. My lore tomestone already capped to 450 with 1 expert roulette and bunch of seal rock.

Then do the other half of the list I posted, just because you don't like running dungeons, doesn't mean others hate dungeons as well. If for some reason you don't like to do anything on said list, then what's the problem? You literally have zero need for Allagan Tomestones of Lore since you dislike essentially anything DoW/DoM related in the game. (With a lot of mentalities on this forum, I feel the need to state that the end of the previous sentence was directed at nobody in particular).

The problem is the cap limiting how much I can do at any given point in time. Some weeks I feel like playing more than others. If people don't feel like doing something that week, too bad for them, because the cap is still there, and if they don't do it, they miss out.

The next week they could do 1000x the thing they enjoy, but they're not going to make up their lost lore.

It doesn't feel fun; it feels like a job.

Because It's the only efficient way.

Expert gives 75 tomes, while the other options give 20- tomes.
