Or better yet we can just download the character creator and do the same...but its not updated with the latest hairstyles, so your idea is the best....it just never crossed my mind to make a character on another world to test out...then save the settings templete...i feel like an idiot. >

I do this as well. When I created my benchmark template for Au Ra, I tested it in game and realized the skin tone was too dark for my liking. I also took the opportunity to test out battle voices and emotes since there was nothing to look up at the time. On that note, there are videos that show off voices for battle and emotes, but outside of that I just make a test character some where and run around whacking things.

Edit: But yes, a better way to preview would be nice to have.
