You're 100% right Celes, there are more than a few amazing heals out there that can keep a player with the defense of a wet paper bag up no problem.
That means its time for this game to have cross-realm party finder! se plz

I cry when I see a paladin or a drk on my team, usually means they are bad enough or non competitive enough to not switch to warrior

drk i would find questionable. pld can be good, but the good ones are rare. i only worry about a pld in party when i already have a blm who will likely be focused on cc and not too much on dmg.
All of it is pure luck, rng with who you get teamed with. Very little comes down to outplaying the enemy.
Why the Devs would make it such a way where you can constantly get clueless players that completely unbalance the match is a mystery to me. Well, maybe to inflate people's game time? Nah it couldn't be that, I mean it's not like they've done it for that reason for the relic quests before.
It's just bad design. No skill based matchmaking. It's broken at it's very core.
I've gone days where I win a few hundred points, but then I always drop a few hundred the next day. It's like a constant struggle with random players in your team to end up in the exact same place you were in a week ago. Absolutely pointless. In almost every match I'm best DPS. In almost every match I'm the WAR with more kills and damage dealt than my teams DPS.
Think I'm done with this game's PvP, yet again another timesink just to make a few pixels look good. I won't compete in a broken tournament. gl.
...didn't the magical chocolates of Forest Gump teach you complacient bastards anything? ...j/k j/k.
It just sucks as I feel as a Ninja I am slowly improving on how to use my abilities and contribute to the team with calls, marks, clearing boxes, etc. ATM, I can't seem to break 650 rating and everytime I get close I get a string of loses. Now I don't mind the good matches where I lose as those are always good games but the ones where a certain "bot white mage" barely does anything, or the other dps who spreads his damage out to so many targets instead of the one marked just so he can complain that it's everyone else's fault because his damage is high.
(to be continued)
I personally don't like the scoreboard at the end as it is not detailed enough to really know what happened during the match but detailed enough for someone to grief another player when they don't now the whole story. Tonight I had a string of loses with a summoner always on my team wanting both buffs but end up losing badly. I feel I am getting better as I am getting good on surviving the initial burst from the other team and making sure to use Purify on Full Swing to clear it along with the other debuffs that stack on me in the first minute.
I knew solo rated would be very RNG depending on who you get but I think I miss my chance to place in the top 100 because I didn't start at 3am when the season started. I would like to look for a team to play with but sadly my FC doesn't support the Feast and no one is willing to team up and can't seem to find teams recruiting on this forum or PvPreborn.
Might have to go back to Street Fighter V to get my PvP competitive fix as in most MMOs, RNG has never been on my side in any content.
If you can't break top 100 and are stuck in the 650's constantly, the problem is between the keyboard and chair. After 50-100 matches, assuming, you have finally understood all of the strategies for your class, very little of it is RNG.I knew solo rated would be very RNG depending on who you get but I think I miss my chance to place in the top 100 because I didn't start at 3am when the season started. It's like poker players who complain that they literally never get good hands as the reason why they lose constantly. No, the reason is because they're not as good as they think they are.
