"Adjust" Housing prices --> Raising prices?

On my own thoughts, if they ARE gonna 'adjust' housing prices... I really hope they decide to make it so that it's moreso that they make it that there are more servers in the 'rich' list, and only newer servers on the 'poorer' list. That's the biggest adjustment I (hopefully!) see them doing.

Changing prices at this point doesn't do much but make it even more expensive for people who don't have a house. It benefits no one really.

We'll be introducing quite a lot of additional plots and will be releasing the prices of the land on the Lodestone.

Which they wouldn't be releasing the prices of the land if the prices weren't changing as people pointed out most likely going up in price.

Honestly I wish they'd just get on with releasing the prices. Whether it goes up, goes down or stays the same I'd just like to know what I'm aiming for. The most recent official price list at the moment is from 2.38...

Really? I thought they'd be lowering house prices. 2-5M for a small is really steep, especially for new players, and the others are basically unobtainable without putting in more time than most players can afford.

We've needed a price increase in housing for a long time... since 3.0 launch...

Making gil in game is stupid easy. I had 1 mil on my alt by the time I got to 50 without even trying. ( Just the money bags and money from quests ).

If you're having a hard time making money in game, you're not doing it right.

SE gives us all the tools to make gil easily in this game ( crafting, gathering, ventures, roulettes, extreme drops, chall logs, heck even hunts, fates, treasure maps and monsters give you gil ) but are you utilizing it?

I can easily make 10-15mil a week just making sure my retainers stay full....

Hopefully they raise the prices high enough to keep the housing mafia away so FC's actually have a chance to get houses without having to pay 200% over the value to those sharks.

You really think raising prices will deter the so called housing mafia from buying houses to flip? It will have no impact since they got all the capital to do so anyways. Only thing raising prices will do is peeve off the majority of the player base that is trying to obtain housing.

Well I guess that's too bad because they've already confirmed they're adjusting the prices ( thank goodness! ). And I sincerely doubt they're lowering them for anyone that's hoping this.

3.3 wont be until.. likely June. That's plenty of warning for people to start saving more gil. No reason to be angry. Just start preparing.

they will most likely be raising the prices sadly, with the installments of apartments and many more housing they will probably be pushing players towards the apartments while trying to stop solo players from getting houses as fast (which we know won't work already got my 100mil waiting for my mansion as i speak!)

Aim for more than the current price. Also, that's the most recent official price because it hasn't changed since then.


Houses have desperately needed an increase for a long time. I'm hoping they do the smart thing and only increase the maximum price (drastically), while keeping the minimum price the same.

It may not go away completely but it cut down on it a lot, cause the house will cost more so the flipper will charge even more so the person trying to sell the house with just be stuck with it cause no one will want/be able to buy it if they so poor they can't even afford to buy it from the system. As the current system is there lot of players out there buying houses for inflated price anyways there a whole reddit section dedicated to it, so pretty much won't be any different instead you will be giving that money to the system instead of some greedy player trying to make quick money off of desperate people.
