Yeah. You actually are expected to kite those adds, but people generally ask beforehand. I usually just spam regen on myself and the tank and run around the entire area. If your team is competent enough the Princess should be down in like 30 seconds.

Yeah, that's one of the few instances where healers should kite because it makes the encounter easier. Glacier Sprites in Sohm Al is another great example. Sometimes abusing that heal aggro makes things easier on the party as a whole. :3

I only use Fluid Aura as like... an "execute", if you can call it that. I only use it when I know the mob will die form it, or almost die (which I then just cast Aero to kill it).

Yup, totally get that and would have been happy to had I known. I'm actually really good at kiting.

My post was just an example of how important communication is. It has been beat into my head to run to the tank if you pick up aggro, and this is a rare instance when you don't since there are more adds than can be slept. Die and learn, yeah?

Reminds me of leveling my WHM there. First run I kited the adds almost die (but hey at least the party is healthy,except me). XD

Second run, everything was smooth until chemira, which I was busy myself with a bit dps here and there, keeping the party healthy again forgot my own health ( also forgot to see the boss moved which was my mistake), a party member died raise him also full hp. Rinse and repeat till boss at 5% and I died. XD good time.

Maybe we could have a sign for "tank please take aggro", like doing the Manderville dance. No, no... that should be the sign from the tank that says "Healer just kite it."

It's not just healers but most of the non-tank players I met. They think that those trash mobs could kill them. In fact, they couldn't, unless you're way too undergeared or letting them hit you like 20+ times.
