I am certain about the dungeon (clams, boss with watery add pops) and myself having more HP than the tank. I may have been off on the actual numbers. .

Lol yeah sorry, its just a pet peeve of mine. I didn't mean to seem like a bitch or anything.

And I agree, I hate going into a low level dungeon and the tank "speed running" it by pulling like 6+ mobs because they think its faster. Its not. Its extremely dangerous (chances are we'll wipe, wasting time) and by the end of the fight we'll have to wait for everyone to heal up, if we all survived. Even worse are the one's who blame the Healer if they die. Like, dude, we only have a select few spells at x level, we can't make miracles or cast a spell that COULD have saved you because it is locked behind a level wall.

Not 100% sure if this is horror or funny as hell. Went to run VA after having taken some new mess for various things. Was fine until about second to last boss then started drifting off asleep. Apparently passed out sometime before having cleared it and echidna. Woke up to a clear and back in Mist wondering if I had been kicked until I saw the normal drops in log.

Reminds me of a recent roulette I did on WHM.

WAR + WHM + MNK + MCH in Keeper. MNK and WAR are new to the instance. No biggie, when I restarted after 1.5 yrs my first instance was Keeper, so I let them know I can help out. We get through first pulls and boss w/o too much trouble. Stray mob here and there but the WAR picks it up.

Clearing to second boss through the two colossi pulls, things start to go a bit...weird. WAR is a bit slow on pickup, MNK has to OT some stuff to get it off me, and the MCH ends up kiting the second colossus while I tank the signifier. But we clear it and make it to the gunship. That was an interesting fight. The WAR engaged and things started out fine (I explained the fight beforehand) with the WAR avoiding the first flamethrower aoe, but that was it. The WAR was sluggish to keep up with the boss, wouldn't move out of aoe, and the MNK ended up tanking the last 15% of the boss. Boy that was a fun fight to heal.

The pulls leading up to Middy were mostly the MNK and MCH tanking/kiting the mobs respectively, while I frantically attempted to CC things with repose, only to find they were immune. And so I started kiting too. The WAR was basically a non-entity. The Middy fight wasn't much better, with the MNK ultimately ending up as the tank for the last half of each dragons life, and the WAR never once joining us in the magitek field. I just stopped rezzing him after the 4th death; I simply did not have the MP anymore. Somehow though, we squeak by, and I impressed myself with my patience.

As we finish, the WAR thanks the group profusely, stating that shortly after the first boss he started to fall asleep, and that he had been fighting it, with decreasing success, ever since. I told him it was cool, we got through the instance, no harm no foul, and Twelve know I've been there myself before. If anything, I can say that run really honed my ability to think, move, and heal under pressure.

Not a big horror tale, but I got Darkhold via roulette, and it was anything but smooth

In the beginning, everything was going great. I was in cleric nearly the entire way to the floating eye boss, hopping out only occasionally to toss regen on the tank. Everyone knew the mechanics of the dungeon an stayed in the safe zones while fighting. Then, the tank got too confident and pulled too heavy. Despite use of my whole toolkit, the tank fell. This was the first time that I KNEW without anyone telling me that it wasn't my fault. I did everything I could to keep him alive. Tank apologized and we moved on.

Then came the exploding crystals which the DPS kept getting hit by. Many KO's on way to boss. At one point during boss, the tank and one DPS was down. By the end of the fight, everyone was on their feet, and I had a sliver of mana left. We all cheered lol. One DPS stood around and gave me a personal commendation telling me I had some exceptional healing skill. That felt really good.

With an FC tankmate helping me run dungeons to 50...Stone Vigil will forever be my dungeon that I laugh at to death. Right where the Ice sprites spawn I hit 50 and was freely given Cure III. Both of us knowing it's an aoe heal instead of focused single heal my FC tankmate hears me on Discord, "Sweet I'm 50 and got Cure III!"
Cue the Following scenario.
FC mate: "Congrats! So you can handle extra pulls right?"
Me: "Well maybe an extra pack to test my limits sure."
FC Mate: "Cure III = Pull all the things gotcha."
Me: "No. No no no."
FC Mate: "You get a pull! You get a pull! Oprah is up in here YOU ALL GET PULLS!"
And cue wipe.

My next story is straight from Aurum Vale. First time trying it with the same FC tankmate listed above.

FC Tankmate: "Ok so if we want full exp we do this with seedlings."
Me: "Awesome sure let's roll this."
FC Tankmate: "It might get a bit pressured but we should be fine."
Me: "Awesome sure Stoneskins on take the pull."
Cue awesome fight start
Cue sudden interjection in party chat from FC tankmate as I see aggro horror happen
FC Tankmate: "I HAVE LOST CONTROL OF THE SITUATION."
Me: "I regret this life decision!"

Self horror story of sorts

where-in for the first time in like 6 months i decided to do an EX as SCH and promptly forgot how my hotbars were set up and messed up buttons alot.
i need to streamline and rearrange my entire SCH hotbars because my set up is so different from AST and to an extent WHM its amazing how i used it.

never again run a class without a quick refresher before

It's about those dps that in order to not mess with their rotation or to avoid lowering their dps just don't move out of aoe's, keep taking every single thing on their face, and in the end, after u exaust all ur mp's to try to keep them alive and almost let all the party die, they will blame u for their death's.....

in this cases i just refuse to heal and ress them...

I don't mind if BLM do this, but only if they warn me before hand. I actually just ran my Level 60 Roulette with a BLM who warned me they would be taking against against Lahabrea & Igeyorhm and Ascian Prime. I didn't mind because they actually warned me before hand.
