When they say server limitations, 95% of the time they're referring to PS3 limitations. They just don't want people hating on PS3 than they already do.If we are to believe that inventory can not be expanded due to "server limitations" then hypothetically what if 250,000 more people subscribe to the game? Where are these supposed "server limitations" that would allow 250,000 more people to have as much inventory space as we do with the option of paying for additional storage space via paid retainers???

Gobbiebags on our retainers. It would help to be able to extend our retainer inventory slots.
Or SE can give the players free extra retrainers as part of the upcomming expansion pack? They can not add inventory, but they sure as hell can help us with some part of our inventory issues.

oh they can add inventory, make no mistake about this. They claim they cant because of how often the game saves would add more stress to the servers.....we dont need the game to auto save as often as it does. see they could change things around but they choose not to. a shared friend/block list would save some right there. but alas this is their game they have to decide if what they do helps or hurts it. ofcourse there are ways around the limitation of the inventory with the saves. have the extra inventory more like the retainers meaning it isnt open unless we access it.simple as open, drop stuff in, close
not that I'm against having a free retainer mind you that would be great. but saying they cannot add inventory is a fallacy. it really is just a matter of if they are given the go ahead to adjust the save rate then to add, if they could give us different types of inventory such as say a tackle box for the fish and bait/lures we have. and perhaps a collection pail for miner and botonist(these could be a limites access thing meaning once you close them they are not being accessed so basically the same as above)
the possibilities are there. it really is a matter of if they want to impliment them

Yea, thats what I was talking about. What do you think they are manufacturing, cars?
They are making stuff to mass produce....IE they are probably making things to sell us. Ildy is the hub city, it's where all the rewards get handed out...
Sorry, I'm not sure if you are agreeing with me or disagreeing... But yes, I spoke to the NPC, how else would I have come up with what I said.

What I really want is for them to make more use of the gigantic key items tab. There's so many items that should belong there, like catalysts and such.
yeah , dont forget the books from alex , the coins items from tribes, trial extreme items , the !$!%&ing prisms (i hate it with passion ) , and more...
the truth is that SE is adding more and more currency or items that u need to keep , while knowing we have inventory issues...and i wonder WHY?
palace of the dead , the new moogle tribes , new trial , the new void ark raid , and who knows...

Friend/recruitment code for special items and things (use before paying first sub) RACN78W5 (updated) info on items here http://sqex.to/Cz9 code is entered via the mogstation.
If they won't give us more inventory anytime soon, at least give us much fatter FC chests...
The FC chest size is tiny.. Our FC has about 40 people and it's constantly overflowing.. I would hate to see what the FC chests of bigger FC's are like.
Finally, another option would be to give us a "crafting bag" sort of system (such as how GW2 did it, and probably many other MMO's).
Give us a completely separate bag and allow all of our crafting materials to be stored in that..
