I thought it was kinda funny, but its just further proof over a year later no one takes FFXIV serious.
I have 8 crafts at 50. All I did was watch T.V. and spam standard for easy mode synths. Enjoy leveling those crafts in 1.19 and beyond everyone!
"need to get 7 other people to get maximum exp when they go to do a quest"
While I agree parties need to be easier to make, that statement above told me a lot about what they know.
They're like overgrown caterpillars...holy crap
This, and the fact that everyone who doesnt stalk lodestone will most likely think of the game similar to this episode or find information on it that outputs the same result as this episode, and the reason is simple: SE.
Cant blame them for pointing out the obvious!
Also, how can i buy back the time i spent watching this crap!
While I agree with you that they had no idea what they were talking about, I get the feeling that was the entire point. By the time the guy was recommending the game was small enough to fit on 1 floppy rather than 2 I though it was obvious there was nothing serious in the entire piece.
Now a thought, when was the last time a game cam on 1 floppy? If memory serves Dungeon Master from 1987 did, but soon after that games were 2 disks each.
If it ain't Jeremy Parish, Garnett Lee or Jerry Holkins talking, it's probably uninformed.
That being said, I can't really absolve SE for failing to promote the game post release, although I don't know what they could do really to be honest.

This should be a surprise to no one. PA has slowly gone from a simple webcomic to a corporation over the years. I think PAX literally went from a fan con to a full-on industry trade show (ala E3) in all of two or three years.
They just need more worthless content to bloat their website with, since writing funny and/or relevant comics is out of the question by now.
If you guys get enough of beating the nerd rage drum and dancing around the fire. I would recomend checking out extra credits if you have never seen it before. really good stuff.
