Used Fantasia Potion, can choose Au ra as race at character creation

Thanks, that very weird thing to do tho, and they dont reference it at all in the potion description. Guess ill change when im done with the main game.

Wait, my apologies, I don't think you need to finish the questline yet, you just need HW purchased and installed. Apparently the requirements to create an Au Ra aren't the same as unlocking the new classes.

I bought both the game and the expansion through steam, the expansion shows up as installed in the steam DLC page for the game, tho the starting screen for the game doesnt say heavensward or is in any way diferent from the normal FFXIV starting screen i've always had, apparently from the images i saw online it should be diferent?

Make sure you register HW through the mogstation as well. The launcher should say Heavensward.

Ah, when i bought the expansion and it showed on steam as installed, i assumed i didnt need to do anything else, but apparently i need to register on mogstation. Thanks for the help, this cleared things up
