I didn't say the LOOKED like them but they do lore wise and over all esthetic ARE the same. Windy = woodys, Bastok = Sand desert mountains, Jueno = sea based towering.

So Windy = Grid, Jeuno = LL and Ul'Dah = Bastok. If you can't see that sir, you're blind. LOL You could even say LL is 'similar' to Sandy but that's pushing it imo.

Not sure where you get your info from but those of us like myself started seeing sparks of this back before the actual mention of XIV. Please see below and do a little research before you tell me what 'facts' you have. I don't base my facts off of nothing. Just because you're a mod on a XIV website does not make you better than others.

"Final Fantasy XIV, previously codenamed Rapture (ラプチャー, Rapuchā?),[21] was first mentioned in August 2005, when Square Enix announced they had begun working on a new MMORPG, but neither confirmed nor denied that it was a sequel to Final Fantasy XI, or that it was Final Fantasy-related.[22] Hiromichi Tanaka, producer of the MMORPG Final Fantasy XI, stated in April 2006 that developers were working to make Rapture a worldwide release for the PlayStation 3 and Windows Vista,[23] before announcing in February 2007 that the game was being developed for Xbox 360 and Windows PC, and that it could be brought to the PlayStation 3 at some stage as well."
