Seph might be hard, but at Gamescom last year I got Ramuh as trial and atleast 6 of the players (one was cosplayed as Minfilia, so I reckon she is familiar with FFXIV) were newcomers. The character had ilvl 130 ironworks gear. We even got a bonus mode where they removed the HP plate from the partymembers and we still cleared him.

I think this will be a modefied version of Sephirot.

Except for the damage being about half or less to what he normal did, the mechanics were essentially the same which can be what snag people. Friend in my FC tried to clear it twice on Saturday with groups of newbies and he wiped both times and didn't get through. We then took in our FC and face rolled over it (even with me on my monk and my rotations all messed up because I didn't have my optimal load out and with us having some members that hadn't done it themselves).

All in all, it was fun. We were watching some groups while we were waiting in queue and it was totally cringe worthy (like tanks not in tank stance at all so he was just roaming all over the arena). Saw 1 guy rage quit because he kept spamming medica 2 over and over and grabbed agro and died. That and they didn't kill the wind at the back in time and it wiped everyone.
