    Be Careful. Errant Reporting.

I've been playing this game now for over a year and PvPing since launch of HW. I've never been reported (that I am aware of) nor have had any negative actions taken against my account. Have I said things out of frustration, sure, but nothing vulgar or abusive.

Well...I'm not sure how much detail I am allowed to reveal within the forums, and due to recent events, I'm going to be very cautious here. A GM actually contacted me in game to discuss the the alleged report and to investigate the situation. Has playing the Feast become more of a liability and outweighing the reward?

I was reported as a "win trader" because I changed targets over enemy heads. We had a certain teammate who just decided to take the lead without discussing anything. I'm perfectly fine with that if the targets are appropriate. They were not in this situation.

I'm not platinum or claim to be anything special, but I do pvp enough to understand what's going on. I know a few of you thru pvp and recognize names, so I have played with enough players that I would assume they knew I'm not "win trading". (Btw this was in PvP Solo)

We did end up losing and I guess the other player took my replacing his target as trying to throw the match. No one is "in charge", but I know whento fall in line and listen to a player which i know has alot more experience than me. This was not one of those times.

I want to say that SE has pretty much discouraged me using the chat feature in Feast and placing targets. Being contacted by a GM for the first time is jarring and has me a little paranoid that future unwarranted reportings are now*used to retaliate against others.

Sure the other player could have legitimately believed I was "win trading", but I find this very hard to believe especially after explaining exactly why I marked the dps with 8 stacks.

If someone wants to be a leader or just refuses to read party chat or attack targets. I try to work as a team around them. Sure I'd love to take out the dragoon with attack buff, but they'd like to kill the summoner with defense buff for some reason. IDK I had an instance where I got yelled at for switching the (1) marker before. I just apologize and keep fighting.

I really don't like to do much typing, use macros, mark targets. Players at some point should know by instinct who should be attacked. If you don't know than look at who your teammates are attacking.

So put on some killer music and have fun. We're all probably doomed to a win/loss ratio of 60% after 500-1000 games. But that in itself maybe 1500 games should give diamond rank at 60% win/loss

Ooo let me capitalise on this... *dances over with party hat and wand with bells*

You know what it would take for all of you in the top 100... No top 50... No top 30 even! To have a higher win ratio like 70%+. You guessed it! More players. Because I mean you all can't play between yourselves alone and all have more than 50-60% win ratios. Someone's got to lose. So how about it.... Let's start building up our scene by making it fun for everyone. :3

Yeah, I've seen you around a few times, Killer, lol. Kind of odd that they'd attempt to report you for that though. It makes me wonder if someone's going to report me for using a macro now when I target enemies, lol. I attempted to just throw up a marker on a target, but that didn't seem to work.

Yesterday, I finally decided to make a macro with a sound effect and that has gotten a lot better results. For some odd reason, people seem to follow the sound effect better. It's like Pavlov's Dog or something. Every time they hear that 'ding ding', they immediately switch targets. They've just started assigning the sound with the marker, so every time it happens, they see where the new marker is and attack. It's pretty interesting, really.

WIth enough playerbase, by the end of season 1, how many people do you expect to be diamond rank?

    Just curious

People underestimate the effectiveness of soundfx on macros so much. When people tunnel vision, a simple <se.10> can break them free and alert them of the new objective! I dont make macros without sound. Some may find it annoying but i would rather be slightly annoyed and WIN instead of being REALLY annoyed and lose.

I can't really speak for the others, but on Primal, we'll probably only have maybe 2. Our #1 isn't even risking it though, lol. Once he hit Platinum, he just stopped playing.

Yeah, I honestly think this is what's happening. The sound effect is breaking their tunnel vision. I use sound effects with macros for PvE, but I just didn't think I'd have to use them for PvP. I really though people would understand what marking a 1 on a target meant, lol... It seems I overestimated a lot of these players.

    Agreed with the soundfx macros. It actually really works well. Even times where I got bished at for spamming em, the counter..'then open your eyes and pay attention' always fits in nicely (i e, mnk has 3 stacks, other guys chasing the coinless mch yadda yadda) Have pretty much been able to limit em down to 2: (in all caps) "Focus the #1-mark' and 'Tank, jump on heals plz". Some might suggest a "Retreat, heals down' one but kinda get a sadistic joy out of seeing teammates die from not knowing that nobrainer >_>;
