Well, if it's already in the game, and associated with the Castrums.... and we're going to Garlemald in the expansion... I'd bet that Doom train is how we're getting there?
Oooh, shiney...
The way I heard his response to the Doomtrain question, it sounded to me as though it is a distinct possibility that it will come when we finally go to Garlemald. His use of "maybe 5.0?" has a certain connotation to me though - that we will NOT be visiting Garlemald in the next expansion, but rather, one coming after that.
It makes me wonder, too - supposedly he was given a choice of themes for 3.0, and he chose Sky instead of Sea. Perhaps 4.0 will be the Sea themed expansion, with 5.0 being when we get to go to Garlemald? Time will tell ...
It still a long way though.![]()
We do know the Garleans have those giant trains, the Doomtrain could be a Garlean supply train filled with guards that we have to destroy. That could be a fun dungeon, fighting through a train to stop the Garleans from using it's cargo.
Better give the Suplex skill to the Monks when 5.0 gets released.
The hints being given the past patches is that Ala Mhigo will be the next expansion, but what I dont understand is, isnt Ala Mhigo surrounded sand and more sand? The way I heard his response to the Doomtrain question, it sounded to me as though it is a distinct possibility that it will come when we finally go to Garlemald. Well a literal Sea is typically surrounded by land; most Seas in our world could, in a very bad sense, be called giant salt water lakes, although there is a fresh water one somewhere. Has to be water somewhere in Ala Mhigo even if underground.
However in a less literal sense, whilst not scientifically correct, people have and do use Sea to refer to vast bodies that arent neccisarily water. A "Sea" of sand is sort of a thing, and would be vaugely poetic I guess.
On point of Doomtrain, I would hazard a long guess it could be the final dungeon, preluding to the final trial of the "5.0" MSQ much like Aehterochemicalwhatever and Thoridan was for 3.0; I picture it leading into the main Palace for our final encounter, having to fight through the many guards as they remove the rear sections.
Kessler Larael / Alesana Gardeneau / Sierra Alpha / Moko Tarou
[Coeurl Army]
Raeleighn Corinthian / Riley Renault
[Balmung Hobos]
6 characters, 1 massive idiot
