Yes... it's not being removed or updated so that recipe will still be usable for now, but removed eventually. However because dying is now done after the final item is made, dark brown toad leather is unusable in new recipes.Ok, but how will Dark Brown Toad leather work? Keep in mind the only receipt they are removing are copper ingot receipe so that mean all the old receipe must still be valid. I keep getting a feeling that they are trying to do way too must in term of receipe on this update...
Also, is buffalo leather being change too.. it is not in the update list...
Anything not under New or Updated Recipes is still craftable for now, but will be removed eventually. Buffalo leather is under the "items not used in new recipes" section so that item will be gotten rid of entirely later.
@Magnesium: The enemies will probably just drop Karakul Fleece directly and remove the unnecessary step of skin > Fleece. The recipes of Sheep leather, fleece, and lanolin are probably so you can use any karakul skin you have currently in your inventory, since the leather and lanolin recipes are exactly the same as sheepskin recipes but with karakul skin instead so it's pretty pointless to have the duplicate recipes exist.

For Woolen Yarn you need Karakul Fleece. In the list with the items no longer dropped by enemies is no Karakul Fleece. The only problem is Lanollin, which need Karakul Skin. Maybe we get Karakul Skin as leve reward. In new recipies - Woolen Yarn and Undyed Felt use Karakul Fleece (made from skin).
In Updated Recipies - Sheep Leather and Lanollin use Karakul Skin and Woolen Yarn uses Karakul Fleece
However in Items No Longer dropped from enemies it includes Karakul Skin. How are we supposed to make woolen yarn and the new material Felt if they aren't dropped anymore and don't appear to be sold by NPC?
edit: you can make Lanolin with Sheep Skin, too
problem solved
