Look, just get a bunch of ice crystals together and summon Shiva again, that's the closest you'll get to the real thing anyway.
Gonna take a stab here and say you button mashed through literally all of the story only stopping to watch cutscenes which confused you because you didn't actually know what was happening. Due to the fact that you probably, again, button mashed through /all/ of the story. Otherwise you'd for sure know who he was.harchefant was a bland character imo and honestly i had no friggin clue who he was when he died as literally he was just "another elezen that helps us on our journey" the only reason i know his name now is because of all the people mourning this dude for some reason lol, hes easily replacable to me, just give us some generic elezen and we are good to go.
Yeah, no. Go do Thordan Ex, you get hit by the same attack, abd if you don't properly mitigate it (have a TANK take the first hit) people die.
So, yeah. Strong attack that can kill us vs npc.
Question is, did Ysayle really die? In 2.x, after you defeat Shiva for the main story, she turns back to Ysayle, talks to you, and then poofs in very much the same way as she did in 3.x story...
(might also be wishful thinking on my part considering Ysayle is my favorite character)
Leave Alpha Nerd alone!Haurchefant was one of the few characters who seemed genuinely happy to see us whenever we'd turn up, and actually treated us like the ass kicking heroes we are. Haurchefant would always get excited and gush about our achievements while the likes of that cretin Alphinaud would be like "oh you're back from saving the world, hand out these uniforms while I do nothing and take all the credit."
I hated Ysayle. If I had my way I would have put my lance through her murdering heart long before we got to Azys Lla. As for Haurchefant? Just another corpse by the wayside.
Somewhat correct, i generally skipped anything that was "quest dialogue" but if it was a fully skippable cutscene, no, i didnt, he just didnt leave an impression on me big enough to remember him, on top of the fact his face and clothes were generic clothes everyone wearsGonna take a stab here and say you button mashed through literally all of the story only stopping to watch cutscenes which confused you because you didn't actually know what was happening. Going through again on an alt and paying a bit more attention to detail and i notice him more but hes still bland

*sigh*
Do not believe what you have seen so far!
If I had learned anything from playing Decades of Final Fantasy, its never as it seems to be!!
My guess is that either Ysayle, or her spirit, or Ysayle as Shiva, will play a major part for when we end up dealing with or saving Einstein.
If I remember the lecture correctly, primals don't die, but rather stay in Aether Land until they are summoned again. Assuming Shiva is similar, I really wouldn't be surprised if Ysayle/Shiva does make an appearance somewhere in the future.
