Today there was a video posted on reddit of a supposed "Speedhacker" in Feast who covers a large distance in an instant.

There's the problem. Reddit is probably worse than here with the amount of toxicity due to the stronger anonymity of posters relative to the OF.

Yea except I could pick out 5-6 people that use the same account name on both doing the said posting. Their posting on here is just more PG

So basically let people be cancerous within the community and it will grow and be healthy. Alright then that doesn't make any sense thanks for your input. It's not just a small minority jumping people it's a pretty significant portion

You can't change people. It's been like this forever and is a problem with the English speaking audience on multiple games. Our community will always be toxic, especially in PvP.

Now our choices are to either be hurt by it or not. Reddit isn't even policed by our moderators so what do you hope to accomplish with this? There's literally zero we can do about this unless said harassment happens in the game.

Reporting someone for suspected hacking or illicit activities is not really a legitimate problem. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here, but SE does not slap people with bans and suspensions just because someone cried in the playground. They simply open an investigation to determine the viability of the complaint. If the person is found guilty, then they get the ban hammer. If they haven't done anything wrong, however, then they have nothing to fear.

Speed hacking, on the other hand, is a legitimate problem. Face target exploits using third party software is also a legitimate problem. These are serious threats to the game mode, and need to be addressed. That means that they need to be reported. The simple fact is that if you see someone who you suspect is using such methods to gain an unfair advantage, it is your responsibility to report them. SE has actually requested that we do so in certain cases, because it violates their terms of service and harms the game mode. I'm not saying that some people don't take it a bit too far. It's the internet; so, that kind of lynching is to be expected (if not also widely ignored), but that doesn't mean that people shouldn't be reporting something they see as suspicious. It's not like we can open our own independent investigations and build a case before submitting a grief report. All we can do is leave it to the moderators to handle it.
