Saving Limit Breaks as a coup de grâce is stupid.

When I was playing BLM in a low level dungeon I got yelled at because I didn't use LB at the very end to finish off the boss. (There were no adds) The fight was already over and people were telling me I should have used LB to make it end faster. We were killing the boss so fast anyway, I decided it wasn't necessary.

It seemed like a silly thing to get so angry about.

I like to see other people use LB on the pre mini bosses. I actually think it gives the bards and blm and all the ranged dps a chance to use it. Especially since most of them come with some kind of add. However, you got idiots (Tanks mostly) who whine when a DPS uses too soon. TBH, DPS is my job, tanking is yours, let's stick to what we are doing. Those tanks can kiss my black mages behind. Anyways all in all, I don't really like to add in LB too often, i usually leave other DPS with that, just because i suck at timing lol. For some reason I always tend to pick the worst time to LB unless I practice it, and the boss goes invulnerable or something, so i leave it to the people who are actually paying attention, which is usually the people getting eaten by most AOE's, because its hard to maintain my rotation and dodge aoe's plus pay attention to when the boss is about to go invulnerable lol.

Once both of us healers were on low mana and 3 DPS died to one aoe mechanic in midas 4, I used healer lb 3, our team cleared it, but the other healer still yelled at me for using it ;-; they wanted me to rez the DPS even though we were low mp and wanted the mnk to lb.
I thought it would be better to use healer lb3 as the DPS would be rezzed with full mp and tp, and I wouldn't have to use my mana and the 3 would instantly be back to DPS. I explained my reasoning but the other healer wasn't having it. ( the boss still had like, 35% HP left)

meh if a healer lb3 saves a run then it was put to good use. so just ignore people in df / pf runs when you feel its the best course of action and it works out it was the right thing to do.

as for lb1 most the time its used to late to even be worth using or it isnt gonna charge in time so should just be used. as a blm i aint gonna use it till im at a certain point in my rotation as i am not dropping enochian for a crummy lb1 in a boss fght. especially if ill probs have the boss dead before it would finish if i dont stop to use it, so i either use it early or i wont touch it. (some exceptions do apply)

Well I guess it's one of those 50/50 situations. If you cleared it there is nothing to complain about and you really don't want to waste time when there is an enrage timer. Unless you have a BRD or SMN still up then raising the DPS will be quite time consuming and there is a chance they die again very quickly. Sometimes you have to make a choice as the Healer in those situations and as long as the choice you make leads to victory nobody has the right to say anything. I usually just assess a situation and quickly consider the possibilities then use the LB3 if I think it'll be the safe way of doing things.

You made a right choice. If someone yelled at you because of this, just ignore him.

Sometimes in Bismarck ex we save lb for the second attack on the back, but don't end up using it because the corona is on such low HP anyway. Usually a drk or healer uses the lb after the battle is over because it looks cool

They really just need to either give each player their own meter or split it between roles. DPS have to share, Tank and Healers get their own.

Or just player LB and Party LB. You add a new button for the party one.

What I hate is when Im saving lb 1 as blm intending to use it on a big trash pull, then the tank proceeds to pull the mobs 1 by 1 the rest of the dungeon

Glad I'm not the only one bothered by this.

It's especially noticeable in void ark when melee will refuse to lb until 2% of last boss...but if ranged dares try to use it instead of letting it go to waste
