Poor Designed Weapon's.

Arent all items,equipment, and world designs in general done by Akihiko Yoshida first, then modeled by the rest of the team? If he designed the weapons, then i'd say they fit with the game. You may not like how they look, but they certainly fit in the context of being made directly from it's body.

Never said i did not like how they look i just saying they don't fit with the rest of the wep in game. Tho they are prime gods so there wep most be like that i'll wait to see it ingame from a video they look weird lol.

whats funny is the people who say the weapons dont fit in the game dont realize that this game aesthetically doesnt fit in with the entire franchise.

even the 2d era had its own intricate detailed beauty in both equipment and weapons.
so again, the weapons are fine, its everything else about the look of this game that makes it less Final Fantasy because its so much more subdued than the rest of the franchise.

FFXIV equipment and gear are even more colorless and bland than FFXI, FFXI is in general more bland than most of the rest of the franchise.
Why should this happen at all? is it because its an MMO that it for some reason needs to not look like the rest of Final Fantasy?

Sometimes things can get....let's say chopy in the time between concept and creation. I personally think time was in extreme restraint in these items, the textures on them look stretched on some items, again it just looks like they took Ifirits model data and plastered it onto a allready created mesh in random areas.
