When/Why were you vote kicked?

Lol last time i was vote kicked was a very long time ago. I was playing a dragoon, keep in mind this was like 2.0 era. Anyways I used LB on the first boss because, well, why not? They questioned me about it saying the healer could need it or the tank could need it along the way. So I responded well, if the healer or tank needs it and we aren't fighting a boss then you are playing the class wrong. Apparently that was vote kickable... Some people are just touchy. Now the time before that I deserved it, because i was healing and the tank made some smart ass comment, I disagreed so the DPS joined in, granted it wasn't a real argument it was just a battle of opinions. Well after long they all started telling me to leave so they can get someone else in there i told them to piss off because i wasnt waiting for another dungeon. So instead of leaving i let the group start a fight, let them all die, raised them claimed i DC'd let them start a fight again let them die, then ran back to the entrance and stood there until i got kicked, it took them nearly 10 minutes, they were very adamant about wanting me to leave to get a timer.

Well I would've waited you out; people who do this sort of stuff to bypass the penalty are the worst, honestly...
just get the run done or leave.

Well, can you blame me? I don't take kindly when people start name calling and getting stupid over an opinion. Granted what I did probably wasn't right, but when you call me a name over something stupid that I disagree with you about, then be careful because I'm plotting something that you aren't gonna like.

You're right, that was pretty mean of them and I also don't condone that type of play, but really

Just report them for being jerks and leave the party. Don't sink to their level.

Yeah cause reporting them does anything, why should i have taken a lockout timer for them being A holes? It's not like I did it just to be a dick, i couldve done it without killing them of course, but hey, crap happens, we live we learn and move on

Actually, yeah, reporting does a lot...especially rude people. I've had GMs talk to me while in duties.
You take the lockout timer because YOU decided you didn't want to run with them anymore. Does it suck? Sure does. Is it fair? Nope. Instead of also being a jerk you could've:
"Fine bye" and left or
"You know what nevermind, let's just finish" and finish. It's not admitting defeat or saying sorry, it's shutting up for the better of the group and moving on. I do this constantly if I don't want a penalty (when I don't care I do just leave and suck it up). It's not that hard.
