That's a different problem altogether. They should work on data centres for those regions. I agree though, it does need to be for everyone.

Well, I was lumping Australia etc. with EU same as SE does, but I agree with this, because of the technicalities it would be easier to not have region exclusives at all unless all regions have access to their own. I'm just saying I'm not one of those crying over the maid outfit because I don't mind not getting an item as long as no one gets preferential treatment. SE should have planned this out to be more fair to all regions, but the fact that they are in contract now over region locked items means they would have at least looked into how this would effect the non-Japanese player base since we are a significant population, which makes me fear that they intentionally ignored us. Maybe you're right, it should have just gone to mogstation for easier access to all, but due to the contract that likely won't happen for a long time now, maybe years, which I also see as very dismissive toward non-JP.

Yeah, I am really surprised at the baby tantrums some people in the XIV community have every time they don't get something they want. SE can do w.e they want with their game, and they don't have to care about your whiny attitude. It's really embarrassing seeing what I assume are grown men and women acting like 5 year olds (over virtual item no less).

That's actually his point though, I think. Even if you're civil about something, it doesn't change the fact that a lot of people seem to view this as some sort of offense to humanity lol. It'd be like having Trump and Sanders talk about the same topic, one is obviously going to be more aggressively yelling and in-your-face than the other, but they're still treating the severity or seriousness relatively the same. At least that's how I interpreted it.

To share an opinion that you'd like something is fine, but whether or not you actually get it, or in some cases how quickly you get it, shouldn't be cause for feelings of contempt lol. At least not for something so minor on the scale of what could be. That sort of jazz.

I don't think that's really "hypocritical" though, since he's making the big deal be about the players, rather than anything actually virtual (hence the "whiny" part). I mean, regarding the virtual game perspective you mentioned, it'd be hypocritical if he suddenly did a 180 and started complaining about some other virtual item though lol. I'd get a laugh out of that one. I don't think it's sound to believe that just because someone plays a game, that they suddenly be put into a category of hypocrisy for complaining about the people that play the game, rather than about a digital item. Doesn't really blend well.

It is however hypocritical to complain about complaints, which is technically what that is lol.
