I hate hate HATE healing tanks that think they should put stone skin on themselves before every pull in 4 man content. The way I see it, if I need SS to keep you alive in this content, then I will give it to you. Meanwhile, we are clearing this content and no one is dying, why come to a complete stop between trash pulls just so you can have a little buff. Things I hate about each tank:
    PLD - Stone Skin Junkies.
WAR - Running in circles trying to attack mobs
DRK - Living Dead when not needed

Just generalizations of each class, obviously skill > class. But those are my pet peeves. But a tank that keeps agro like a fat kid with a cookie... love em'!

You can't hate them based on what you listed. PLD can Stoneskin themselves as they see fit, all of the tanks need to move in circles in order to avoid multiple AoE's when there's a big group, and WAR especially since they need to Overpower, and that's conal, and Living Dead is barely ever needed, it doesn't hurt anyone and if you see that up, you might actually have like 15 seconds of ignoring the DRK completely, so if anything, it's a gain for you as a healer.

    I literally don't notice a difference whatsoever.

Only irritating thing is if Walking Dead triggers when I'm on scholar.

Having all heal Classes my conclusion is this:
(Please note this is my personal opinion and it might vary for other people)

WHM + WAR synergizes nicely. The Big heals combined with Regen, and self heals make it great. Add some holy spams to the mix and voila, a self sustaining tank with Healer DPS burst damage.

PLD + SCH is another great synergy. High mitigation + Shields make the shields last longer combine it with fairy and as SCH you can DPS like mad.

AST has the different sects, they can swap to whatever they want to and thus synergize nicely with both.

DRK is kinda the odd one out right now. I don't feel they have a synergy going with any healer atm. If anything I'd say AST due to the cards but they definitely feel a bit more squishy than the other two in my opinion.

Please keep in mind that it is ALL dependent on the Tank and healer. When I have a proper tank, popping cooldowns when they have to and dodging AOE's; Then as a healer (AST main) i pop a double (sometimes triple) regen on the tank and DPS to my hearts' content.

Of all things to complain about, you choose Paladins using Stoneskin on themselves? Stoneskin is a flat 10% mitigation no matter who casts since now WHMs no longer have the trait that made it 18%. If a Paladin wants to use Stoneskin on themselves, let them. At least they give a damn about prevention and mitigation instead of being a typical "ignore defensive CDs" tank that we always complain about here.

The reason a tank casts stoneskin on himself isn't that he's afraid of dying, but rather to give you, the healer, some extra time to DPS and apply your DoTs at the start of the fight before you have to start curing.

As a healer, that stoneskin can absolutely be the difference between being able to Bane combo at the start of the fight or just cure bombing, and the loss of a bane combo from the healer will eat way more than the 3 secs to cast stoneskin.

Of course if the time lost from a tank casting stoneskin on himself annoys you so much perhaps instead of the tank needing to stop and cast it himself you could just cast it on him at the end of the last fight and use sprint to catch up.
