Exception for Military Deployments, Extreme medical situations

The changes were made after i had already left. NO ONE KNEW ABOUT IT!! i just found out about it now when i came back and logged in to find everything gone. These changes did not exist 7 months ago before the deployment.

Alright, let's assume neither of you follow patch notes, or forum threads, etc. etc. Are you then telling us that in the time you were deployed neither you nor your wife could be bothered to check your emails? You would have both been sent notifications to the emails registered to your respective accounts.

I've known many a service member, and they almost always, at some point in a month, have access to basic internet for things like email. And, unless you're telling us that your wife was also deployed and didn't have email access there is no reason she would not have been informed about the decay timer counting down.

I have 1 Square Id that is connected to 2 ffxi handles and 2 ffxiv accounts so we can play at the same time for over 10+ years. I'm not sure how your comment helps the thread at all. Should i be punished because i am married. This isn't just about me!! I'm sure I'm not the only person who lost their online homes. The point is if you pay your subscription you should not lose any in game items. Also "deployments" to Europe and Japan are not Combat tours, and I am a Marine. I'm not sure who you know and what branch of service they are in, that allows them to play games and take all day to look at the dev threads and play with their email.
