They said they are not introducing new classes.
Conjurer is much more a buffer then thm by far.
Bayohne said in that art, that it was a picture of a bow that transforms.

Barcher.
Anyway, I am firm that THM > BLM and CON > WHM but I will give into you naysayer with this thought: If CON > BLM then CON is the healer and BLM will strengthen the elemental spells and not allow the use of Cure because it makes no sense for a BLM to Cure. THM > WHM means that more sacrifice type spells open up (can't give them Cure, CON has it) and THM will be the damage dealer.
Yea that makes a ton of sense!
The screen shot demonstrating mages casting in passive mode shows a THM casting fire. Now of course any THM can cast fire that has it equipped from CON but I feel SE would have normally done a demonstration with abilities that are native to the class they are showing. So I feel like they intentionally showed us THM casting fire to hint that they may be rearranging abilities around or at least THM will have access to them as "BLM".
With WHM and BLM being the only two mage jobs as of now and the fact that we are getting 1 job for each class initially is my reasoning.Ahem....No, thats not what they said. They said "initially" they will only release one job per class. That does not by any means, mean what happens beyond that cannot be discussed.
So whats your logic behind your guess Bowen? What brought you to the conclussion that the class with advanced healing (curaga), advanced resserections, and buffs, is more likely to be blackmage over the class that focuses on debuffs, life taps, light and dark magics, stat siphons, sacrafices ones blood to add health to another or to raise mag. potency?
Also, look at the attire of CON and its abilities. CON's Attire looks very BLM-like. And they have Ancient Magic. ]
THM's Attire is similar to WHM attire too. Both wear hooded clothing. And, there are two temples in Uldah. One dedicated to death and life after death (THM guild) and the second which is dedicated to life and preserving it. It makes sense. Now, this is just my opinion. I really hope CON gets BLM since ever since jobs were announced ive dedicated myself to level CON for BLM.

I looked at the picture, because any point is worth looking into, and I do not think he is casting fire. Looks more like paralyze or something else. I've been leveling my CNJ to 50 lately and cast fire a lot and it does not look like fire to me.

When people use the logic for why Conj should get WHM the same logic should be applied for why CONJ should get blm, to be fair the only reason why people were so confused was due to the fact that both classes can do both. In most dungeon videos SE shows a thm buffing, thats just because no matter what the range is better for buffing. Does that mean THM get whm? NO its just what was useful for them at the time. pre single target cure thm could dd and cure, post single target cure thm can still dd and cure. CONJ can dd and cure also. People who say conj can't dd should play their class right. So the fact they can both do healing and dd made the community more confused. I would of loved to see whm go to thm, since the lore of the the sect of thm who are on the light side. And giving blm/whm to conj or thm will take rebalancing abilities.
I just don't get where people think "Just cause conj has heals whm on thm couldn't be given heals" that means that if they give blm to thm that blm can't have nukes either lol.
My point here is SE effed up so badly every piece of logic someone uses to say "whm goes to conj" can be used also to say "whm goes to thm" or "blm goes to conj" uses the same logic as "blm goes to thm", its not us who are the dummies trust me, it was just the way the two mages played out before we got jobs.

I agree, but remember that the two classes are meant to be for soloing while BLM and WHM will be for party purposes. So, I can see why they gave CON the heals. It kinda balanced the two out IMO.
