I'm sorry but some information needs to be more transparent than others. And no, not everything is spelled out.

When decisions are coming that are permanent, pros and cons need to be presented.

Sure they could end up small (and that is what I and most people are hoping) but just as equally they could be large.

Agreed. In a game that boasts "do anything and everything with one character" there needs to be some major transparency if we're suddenly going to be punished for a certain choice that doesn't conform with others'.

And they don't need to tell us exactly what the rewards are. Just to clarify what "greater" means as in English it came me a lot. Because if it means "better items" then which Grand Company we join is a group decision with linkshells and friends. But if it means "more company seals" than it's still just a personal choice as it won't be as big an issue.

Nothing in an MMO is ever permanent...and most of the stuff people complaining about are superficial...LIKE seriously how loots are distributed for 1 battle, or what gear you get from one battle. Um...yeah...

And it's totally unheard of that MMOs change over time.
Look at the Armoury System, claiming system, exp distribution. You name it.

And SE said they'll implement a way to change your alignment further down the road.
I bet it'll be the same with your nation (XI was the same, I believe).

It really is not the end of the world as we know it.
