I want to join Maelstorm for its gcsalute.
I want to join Immortal Flame for its weapons.
I want to join Twin Adder for its crest and linkshell-mates.
I lose my direction.![]()
LL is the new Lastok while Ul'dah is the new Winfirst...
Twin Adders personally, I enjoy the atmosphere the most in their headquarters, and in the Black Shroud as a whole! Just feels like home~ :P
What crap are you spouting here? the more losses... what the, I dont even...thats not just british, america troops do that as well. The meaning behind it is if you see the back of the hand and the farther down it points, the less loses they have had in war/battle. As they get some loses the salute goes up and up and up until you see the palm of the hand which means they have lost a lot. (military tradition and all)
The picture here clearly shows the two salutes. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...MilitarySalute
American: hand held horizontally perpendicular to face, at a slight angle.
British: Hand held vertically perpendicular to face, showing palm.
/the more you know.
because the British lost in India, America, all it's other Colonies.... Good sir I went to boot camp and got trained the significance of the salute and why it is the way it is. Thats what shit I am spouting... I am spouting military tradition I was taught in BOOT CAMP!What crap are you spouting here? the more losses... what the, I dont even...

Immortal Flames all day i choose the city when they first shown it on FFXIV website, also cause i thought others would not then one day it was over crowded... lol
Well, 'good sir', you were taught wrong. I suggest we drop this before you offend anymore people.
I agree drop it but I don't see how I am offending anyone....
Though I agree that I probably was taught wrong but I am not the only one... A lot of people I have gone through training with and other's I have found with similiar experiences of being taught this by RDC, or drill sergeants. I am not saying they are correct but I am not the only one that got taught this.
