What is an esos?
Well if anyone wondered what they meant about punishments, I can confirm it is a 24hr ban or greater depending on account discipline history.
And you need not actually commit the act. Advertising or discussing the wiping, with intent to do so will result in the same outcome.

It does fall under player griefing but you have to prove it which is the hard part. I keep wondering what they could do to make it less appealing to farm but most ideas I can think of come with a sizeable drawback XD
- Could lower the participation vs win ration of eso, but even if it was 5 eso per loss ppl would still probably see it as faster eso than trying to win, and if they don't, overall participation drops and ques suffer XD
- Could remove feast completely from rewarding anything non-pvp related, but this isn't a good solution in the long run and again, longer ques.
We will have to see how they "Adjust" the ranking system and matching, but as it stands it is not a good way to launch the season, and ppl saying "just deal with it they will stop once they have their relic" well...what if they are working on more than just one? guess they will stop when they get that one done instead. :P

Like you guys ban people who use gathering bots? Uh huh, sure.Greetings,
We are aware that there are users engaging in this kind of behavior and we will be taking action against those found to be taking part in it. If you encounter this type of activity, we ask that you please report it via the in-game Support Desk (System > Support Desk > Report Harassment). Cut the team some slack.

They are taking actions on it now.

How have you been dealing with it?
The other day, I queued up with a group of four people to get some practice in before the season starts. (We really want to hit the ground running in the first season as a solid team.)
The first five matches were all people throwing the matches for esos. This was frustrating because we honestly just wanted to practice... And then there was a match where the entire enemy team was naked. We got fed up, so we started killing them but not collecting the coins (so we never received the medals to win). We did this over and over again. Then we danced with them. They didn't even try to fight... So, we waited it out. One person eventually (presumably) got so annoyed with us that they outright left, perhaps hoping the coins would go to us (nope -- they drop on the ground and still need to be collected). I hope this deterred that particular group from continuing to use 4v4 ranked matches as a 'quick eso farm'. I feel like we need to stop enabling these teams by showing them that we're not going to condone this behavior. If they want the esos, they need to actually try.

New Strategy for PvP:
Use Emperor's New cloths for all gear, put on glamour level 1 weapon.
Proceed to Wreck unexpected enemy team.

It's trolling because there are people who actually want to PvP and that's what this game mode is for. You're keeping them from having a competative match by refusing to participate and finding humor in the frustration you cause within your team. That's basically the definition of trolling.
